What is your team's runner-scoring efficiency?
Major League teams leave more runners stranded on base than those scoring. The runner-scoring efficiency for all teams is generally below 50%, and it is less than 40% for some teams. Defined simply as the number of runs divided by the number of runners reaching base and not caught stealing, the runner-scoring efficiency is a true measure of team productivity. The runner-scoring efficiencies and efficiency rankings for major league teams in 2005 are:
